At North Cottesloe Primary School, we are committed to empowering students to aspire to excellence, become life-long learners and contribute as valued members of the community.

North Cottesloe PS has a long history of providing a supportive and safe environment, ample opportunity to excel and long-lasting friendships as students navigate the primary years. We focus on ensuring our foundational programs embed intentional play to teach biologically primary skills, while explicitly teaching the biologically secondary skills students need to be successful readers, writers and numerate thinkers. This gives every student the required skills and content knowledge to build into critical thinking throughout their schooling.

We have a strong community that work together with our staff to provide excellent opportunities for our students academically and through our extensive extra-curricular activities.  We are fortunate to have incredible teachers who are passionate about improving educational outcomes, and a leadership team dedicated to supporting our students, staff and families. We provide our teaching and non-teaching staff extensive development and professional growth through targeted Professional Learning, staff meetings and school development days, as well as offering an in-class coaching cycle, keeping teachers and education assistants up to date with the current research and practical implications in the classroom to benefit each and every child.
