NCPS School Canteen Information
Welcome to NCPS Canteen. Our school canteen is operated and funded by NCPS P&C. Its primary function is to offer nutritious meals to the school community in line with current dietary recommendations of the West Australian Education Dept.
Any excess funds made by the Canteen go directly to the NCPS P&C and are used to support improvements to the school.
NCPS Canteen is an Allergy Aware Canteen, we provide safe and nutritious meals for children with food allergies. No nuts are used and eggs are only in cooked cakes. We have an extensive range of Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Dairy Free options.
Location and Operating Hours
The school canteen is located within the undercover area.
It operates for Recess and Lunch on Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is lunch only, no recess.
Additionally, there's a Lunch-only service on Friday each week.
Recess service is not available to PP or Kindy students.

Parent Volunteers are crucial to the smooth running of the NCPS Canteen
Volunteering at NCPS Canteen is a rewarding way to give back to the school community, without taking too much of your time. Your children love seeing you (or any parent) helping in the school canteen.
This system ensures an efficient and convenient way of fostering community involvement through volunteering opportunities.
Canteen Pick-up Procedures
Recess
Recess is available to Years 1-6 only.
During recess, students are required to collect their individual orders directly from the canteen window situated in the undercover area.
Lunch
Lunch Monitors from each class will be designated to collect the class basket from the canteen. The lunch orders will then be distributed by the teacher within the classroom.
Special Note
Icy poles can be pre-ordered via Quickcliq. Students can present their lunch bag at the Canteen window and receive their Icy pole. Pre-primary orders for icy poles will be handed out by PP teachers after they have eaten their lunch.
